In an individualist and selfish society ¿is it worth to look after others so much? Knowing it could be at your expense.

In any kind of relationships its common to give a lot from you while not receiving the same.  Giving that love could be your comfort but that situation is also harming u, cause being hyper-empathic is also bretaying yourself
